Colour with restraint

Colour does not need to be loud to be memorable. A terracotta banquette, an olive chair, a soft teal cushion — placed with care — can set the temperature of an entire interior.

In commercial rooms we often introduce one saturated note against quiet wood and plaster. In homes, the same idea holds: let colour sit in the objects you live with, not only on the walls.

Restraint keeps colour precious. When every surface competes, nothing settles. When one note is clear, the room finds its voice.
